HOW DO I RENT A BOAT From Sun Island boats?

You can easily rent a boat by sending us a message or calling our rental office.

WHAT’S INCLUDED IN THE RENT?

The rental price includes boat rental and cleaning of the boat. We reserve the right to charge a cleaning fee if the boat is returned excessively dirty.

DO I NEED AN INSTRUCTION?

Yes, on the first rental day, you will get a very detailed boat instruction. It not only includes the operation of the boat, but also

the rules and peculiarities of the local boat traffic. It is absolutely necessary if you want to rent a boat in Florida.

DO I NEED A BOATING LICENSE TO RENT A BOAT IN CAPE CORAL?

A boat driver’s license is not mandatory for renting and driving a boat in Florida. Anyone born on or after Jan. 1, 1988, must have a Boating Safety Education ID Card to legally operate a boat in

Florida. You can absolve the online course at https://www.boatus.org

IS THERE A MINIMUM RENTAL PERIOD?

We offer flexible rental periods, ranging from a full-day rentals to whole week and more. Contact us for more information.

Are the boats equipped with  SAFETY GEAR?

Yes, all of our boats come equipped with necessary safety gear, including life jackets and first-aid kits.

CAN I BRING MY OWN FOOD AND DRINKS ON THE

BOAT?

Yes, you are welcome to bring your own food and drinks on the boat.

Please be sure to dispose of any trash properly.

ARE THE BOATS INSURED?

Our boats are commercially insured with an deductible of $1000 and a Sea Tow insurance.

CAN I BRING MY PETS ON THE BOAT?

Please understand that we do not allow animals on board.

WHAT’s the CANCELLATION POLICY?

Our cancellation policy varies depending on the type of rental and the rental period. Please go to terms for more information.

WHAT is SEATOW?

SeaTow is the towing company which, in the event of an accident, tows the vessel back to port or assists directly on site.
